Does the team need any special hardware?
No. Cliqtel works with any laptop or smartphone — download the softphone for desktop or the mobile app. No PBX, no deskphones required. If someone prefers a deskphone, any SIP-compatible model (Yealink, Polycom, Grandstream, etc.) works out of the box.
Can we have local numbers in multiple countries?
Yes — local and toll-free numbers in 70+ countries. They all route into the same account and ring your existing team; the customer just sees a local number.
What happens when someone’s offline or traveling?
Time-based call flows skip anyone outside their configured hours. Ring groups can also fall through to voicemail or another team if no one answers within X seconds.
Do calls work over poor Wi-Fi?
The mobile app and softphone switch between Wi-Fi, 4G, and 5G transparently. In areas with bad internet, you can forward calls to a cellular number as a fallback.
How do we handle timezones?
Each call flow has its own timezone and business hours. You can chain them: APAC hours ring the Singapore team → EMEA hours ring the Amsterdam team → after hours to voicemail.
